[ 938. Canada Day 17: Departing Tomorrow ]
Anyway... it's been a very enjoyable trip i guess. Good rooms, good food, good dudes around me for company and fun. Think the bravo guys are a really great bunch of peeps to know. Jolly dudes, cranky antics and crazy ideas sometimes. Hahahaha.
Nonetheless, as you guessed it, we actually stayed in bunk for meals for most of last week due to severe indigestion problems of our wallets. Overspending, no. But overshopping was evident when you see the bus so full of luggages today, we had a seats shortage. Boy, we even had to put luggages around the isle. You will wonder if we were on an exercise or on a holiday. Hahahaha.
Reached edmonton city this morning, and this time round, we're staying directly opposite the west edmonton mall, instead of half a city away like last week when we came to town.
Highlight of the week i'd guess would be the commanders' visit. Div comd and bde comd came down to visit us, and spent a couple of days at cold lake. Think we sort of disappointed him the first day, but nonetheless think we produced results on the last day. Hahaha. Not to mention the western bbq we had at the motel itself on the last day. Loads of food, mostly steaks and ribs. And catered food from the chinese restaurant. Oh my goodness.... i miss my laksa! Bachor mee! Hokkien mee! I wanna go homeeeeeeeeeee......................................
Aye aye. C'mon xuan. It's only 36 hours more to Singapore. And not to mention, when someone reads this, you'll jolly well be on the plane back already.
