[ 860. SCI Interview ]

Went down to have lunch with mabel and cindy today. Haha. We had cai fan at canteen 3 today, and true to what mabel said i really came out stinking of the zi cha smell after eating in that air conditioned place. Nonetheless, i went a tad too early, so i ended up waiting. And waiting. And finally. The test.

Like last year, there's a written test component. Last year's topic was on this teenage boy from a neighbourhood school dating this top school girl. This year was slightly better. They gave us a choice! I wrote the one about how anonymous online discussion forums either benefitted or harmed the singapore society. I guess it was easier to write and argue than the extent of singapore idol's media coverage. Nonetheless, they had an added section: this current affairs mcq test. Only ten questions. Online, not that hard, yet some are tricky.

Then come the interview. Thank you mabel! Haha. Thank god i called her to ease my nerves just before my interview. And also to the CS students there who were chit chatting with us. Haha. A talkative bunch though, quite needless to say why they ended up as students. Lolx. Anyway, the interview was just so much easier to handle this year! At least i found my voice, and apart from screwing up pronouncing "two thousand and six" into "thwo tousand and sthix", i guess everything else went better than expect. Showed my videos, my photos, and guess i walkedo ut confident. =)

Ok, there's this thing that irks me. You know how some internet windows are programmed to pop in your face just as you are typing something else on another window. They are DARN irritating.
